September 2018 DEI Lead's Admin Meeting

Tuesday, September 11, 2018

2:00 PM ~ 3:30 AM ET

The DEI Peer to Peer Exchange provides an opportunity to have an informal collaborative dialogue to share observations, challenges, and solutions with DEI peers and the national DEI Program Office. The goal is to facilitate peer learning across different regions of the country on DEI implementation or addressing other systemic disability-related issues.

The September topic and exchange “Finding Integration: VR and Workforce”, featured a best practice brief overview from the DEI Best Practices series followed by a facilitated discussion with Scherrone Dunhamn to learn What are DEI grantees experiencing in the field around Finding Integration between Workforce and VR?

In addition to the meeting agenda and summary, the additional attachments found under “Related Content” include:

  • DEI Best Practice: Georgia – Vocational Rehabilitation Partnership - Rossany Rios, Georgia VI DEI Project Lead, provided a brief overview of the innovative approach that the DEI project took to partner with Vocational Rehabilitation.
  • Quarterly Narrative Performance Reports: Examples from Quarter Ending Mach 31, 2018 – Updated version of the DEI Performance Reporting document that David Jones referenced that highlights key discussion points.
